Girls Basketball

On December 7th, the Girls Varsity Basketball team won their non-conference game against the Hylton Bulldogs with a score of 55-31. Point guard Emily Casey led her team to victory with 12 points. Along with Emily Casey, Ella Negron crashed the boards with 14 rebounds (7 offense & defense). The girls are facing Unity Reed’s Girls Basketball team on December 15, 2021. 

Boys Basketball

On December 7th, the Boys Varsity Basketball team won their non-conference game against the Hylton Bulldogs for a score of 65-58. Shooting Guard, Mike Ackerman led his team to victory with 16 points and 4 steals. Along with Mike Ackerman, Jay Randall crashed the boards with  7 rebounds and 2 blocks. The boys have an away game against Riverside on December 11, 2021. 

On December 11, 2021, the Boys Varsity Basketball team won in a close game against Riverside. 

Wrestling

The Patriot Pioneer Wrestling team competed in the Sherando Duals on December 10th and 11th. Patriot defeated both Sherando-B and Heritage in the 2nd and 4th round. In round 6, they lost to Centreville. In the bracket round, Patriot lost to Potomac and Warren County. Despite these losses, they pulled through and finished 7th of 16 teams. 

Gymnastics

This weekend our gymnastics team placed 1st in their meet! Shoutout to the following:

2nd place Floor – Victoria VanDyke

4th place Floor – Briana Walker

5th place All-Around – Briana Walker

Boys Swim

The boys swim team took the victory over South Riding with a score of 210.5- 74.5.

Girls Swim

The girls tied in a tough fight over South Riding with a score of 154-154.
